Comment by Nikki on April 12, 2010 at 10:27pm: We all have experienced hurt or pain at some point in our lives. Most of us try our best to ignore the fact that it even happened, however, often times our past still manages to find a way into our present. This is of because we have not yet gotten over the pain. It’s still a memory that we carry with us in or daily lives. I have noticed that it’s made it hard for me to trust or allow myself to be open with others.

No one wants to dwell in the past or live in fear that they will always get hurt. In order to move on there has to be a time when you decide to leave the past behind.

Nor are we defined by our failures. We are women, and with choices and hearts to love and become better EVERYDAY, we are not only remarkable-we claim our resilience. And, in doing so, we choose to grow past the pain. Live insides our smiles and persevere through our tears. We are here, because we chose to be. Not because we have to be, but because we have chosen this place. And, our choices to love each other, grow each other, and learn from each other will help us inspire each other.

Even through the hard times you have proven to be fighter. Look at where you are right now. You are in a place where negativity has no room to share your space. Blood in blood out, I'm your sister so hang in there.
