Permalink Reply by Pamela Eggleston on June 3, 2011 at 2:09pm I don't recall that song but it is nice to see how it isapplied to when your husband sang it to you. Glad your love is still strong. Continued happiness
I love "These 3 Words". "If this World was Mine" and your song "You got Love".
About our state of affairs: I reflect on "What's going On", and Your entire CD speaks to those issues happening to and through us.

I saw you in Rotterdam; small but highly appreciative crowd. This was the first time I have been able to see you (I had also tried to see you in Amsterdam but was told the wrong info and ended up missing the show even though I had a ticket!). My wife was really jealous but she was in London at the time. I was sure to let her know how great it was. ;-)
So yes, a song that changed my life. I have to have a shout out to that patron saint of couples, Al Green…”Let’s stay together” and “Let’s get married” come to mind especially. Al Green did change my life, absolutely. And yes, a Kindred song…. Among others, I often think of ”Do you remember.” The sincerity, meaning, and depth of that song really cuts to the heart of the matter of what it takes to forgive and be forgiven. That song, and your whole catalog, means a lot to me and my wife. In fact, I would say that in a cast full of great and inspirational soul artists, you both really have your own place—a soundtrack for couples trying to “stay together,” remain in love, and keep it real.
Thank you for what you do.

Permalink Reply by constance on January 15, 2012 at 8:50pm There is a song by Lauryn Hill called "I get out". This song helped me to find the strength to serve God acceptably and to let go of all my old habits. The world can have a stronghold on a person and this song helped me to fight for my spiritual well being. At the same time your music help me to see the type of love I wanted to share with my husband. Especially " Do you remember". Much love for your family and the soulful music you make together
