This event is a special token of appreciation to honor women and those with special women in their lives. There will be live jazz performances by Brian O'Neal of Kem's band and 76 Degrees West, a Jazz/Funk band that has been lighting up stages across the U.S. since 2001. Their remake of The Average White Band's "School Boy Crush" combines instrumental jazz with go-go, creating classic D.C. magic, and Kendrick the Family Soul will perform classical soul music. Kendrick songs are based on a positive message, which spread light into everyone.
